Family Date
I don’t remember exactly when Addy began calling our family outings “family dates,” but we think it’s adorable and have adopted the term ourselves. Any time we spend time away from home with just the four of us, we now refer to our time together as a “family date.”
Last night, Andy planned a special “family date” to help celebrate the cool, fall weather. He packed all the accessories needed for a picnic dinner, picked up fried chicken and sides, and we headed to the local park. It was such a nice fall evening and we enjoyed throwing frisbee, eating dinner, laying in the shade of some large (for Texas) oak trees, and watching Addy enjoy the playground. It was a picture-perfect evening, so here are some photos to share.

You guys are just awesome – I sure do miss you. Wish we could have double family dates!
I can’t believe how big Ashton has gotten. He is precious! And, of course Addy is just as adorable as ever. Love you guys!

Oh, how precious! Thanks so much for taking the time to update your blog and share these pictures! I’m soooo looking forward to seeing you all again in person later this month and celebrating Addy’s 3rd birthday!!! I’m hoping to get lots of hugs, kisses and quality time into a few short days, and I’m also excited about spending a day with you in your 2nd grade classroom.
Love you all bunches,
Mom
