“I like speed!”
As we were driving around town this morning, I heard a voice from the back seat say, “Go faster Mommy! I like feed (speed)!” She acquired this new phrase during a get-away with friends at their lake house in Missouri. While there, Addy went tubing, went knee-boarding, went swimming in the lake every day, rode a four-wheeler, “drove” a boat, and was thoroughly spoiled by our friends, “Uncle” Chris and Miss Rhonda. She had a blast, as did all of us. Thanks to Chris, I’m sure we will be hearing all about the “extreme” activities she wants to do for a while.

I think maybe it’s better that Grandma wasn’t there for this one…better to see the pictures after the fact. I’m sure my heart would have been doing flip-flops! She appears to be a little daredevil just like her mommy! I remember a trip to King’s Island when you were three and got off the Twin Racer going forward with me and wanted to go on the other roller coaster you’d seen going backwards next to us. At that point, I recruited your dad and pushed Tamara in the stroller while you got in your thrills.

Wow – she’s a brave one. I am very impressed. And, at least she is saying “go faster mommy!” instead of the, “you’re gonna wweck mommy!” I hear frequently.
